$$   2008/2009 Dues Notice $$

Dues Invoices for 2008/2009 have been emailed to those members that had previously accepted last years email dues notice from the club.  Members without email or those who asked not to be emailed the dues notice have been sent their dues notice via the USPS.

New to the emailed dues notice this year is the option to pay your dues using Paypal.  Just click the Pay Now Button and it will open the Paypal site for our account.  Fill in the requested information and select your method of payment.  A Paypal account is not necessary to make your dues payment.

Once again this year, anyone that does not want to receive their billing as an email should simply let Trudy & Fred know and they will remove you from the email billing and add you back to the conventional U.S. Mail system along with those that do not have active email addresses.

Please make payments by April 30, 2008.

Please Note:  If you have not received a dues notice at this time please contact Trudy & Fred.

Refining the annual dues notice and collection process, is an effort to be more time efficient and to save the club costly mailing and copying expenses.

Spring 2007 National Meeting A Success

The Spring 2007 National PCCA meeting was held on April 20 and 21 in Burlington Vermont at the Wyndham Hotel overlooking Lake Champlain.  Sandwiched between the violent Nor'easter and a second rainy front the sun shown on the PCCA. We had a beautiful, sunny and warm weekend for our special private tour of the Shelburne Museum and their pewter collection.

On Friday evening after an introduction to Shelburne by Jean Burkes, Senior Curator at Shelburne Museum, we had two informative Collector's Choice presentations by Ken Goldberg and Dick Pencek.

On Saturday morning we enjoyed the Shelburne collection with our group questions and discussions about the collection led by Melvyn Wolf and Wayne Hilt.  Saturday afternoon was open for touring Burlington and the area on a beautiful afternoon or for  closely following the Pook and Pook auction of the Shelley pewter and other early Americana collection.

On Saturday evening there were more entertaining Collector's Choice presentations with Tom and Ellen O'Flaherty, Bill Snow and Greg Aurand and a Show and Tell led by Robert Werowinski and Melvyn Wolf.
